Chaklala Cantonment Board (CCB) was established in February 2003. This board was formed after dividing Rawalpindi cantonment into two portions one into Rawalpindi and other into Chaklala cantonment. This partition was done due to massive increase in the population of Rawalpindi cantonment.

Chaklala Cantonment Board (CCB) jobs are on contract basis for the period of o1 year under rule 9 of PCSR-1954, and jobs can be extended with the fixed pay. Candidates either male of female with MBBS, nursing diploma, inter and matric degree holders are eligible for different posts.
